A very concrete world that truly doesn't skimp on beauty: the world of the Hohe Tauern National Park. And more precisely, the Tyrolean part of this spectacular national park. A full two floors have been reserved for people who not only want to marvel at the beauty and impressive landscapes, but who want to know a little more, be it about the plants and animals found there, or about the history of the national park itself. Next time, as an expert hiker, you will be able to examine everything a little more closely. The natural and cultural history of the Hohe Tauern National Park will be more than just familiar to you; you will learn about cult and hunting sites from the Stone Age and also know how agricultural farming methods have changed over time. For the 25th National Park anniversary, the exhibition "Tauernblicke - Moments of Wonder" was opened. The interactive exhibition presents various habitats of the protected area and makes you want to discover them in the wild. Spectacular 360° videos accompany you through 6 experience rooms. The rangers present the East Tyrolean National Park hotspots such as Jagdhausalmen, Umbalfälle, and impressive glacier experiences. A very special highlight is the film about the "Großglockner". Ranger Andreas was there and greets from 3798 m above sea level - you feel the freedom on Austria's highest mountain in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park. In this action-packed virtual experience, visitors to the National Park House almost believe they have climbed Austria's highest mountain themselves.
