14 originally preserved farmhouses and 23 outbuildings from all over Tyrol can be explored inside and out. With a touch of nostalgia, the farmhouses with their charming details can be discovered as impressive witnesses of these long-gone times. These witnesses of rural culture from the past also include the many outbuildings, such as the saw, mill, forge, threshing floor, or the two chapels, which, like all other houses, were carefully dismantled and rebuilt here in the museum. The old school, in particular, enchants with its charm and brings long-past days back to life. The museum is enlivened by free-roaming animals and colorful farm gardens. Highlight event: Great Kirchtag (church consecration festival) every year at the end of September (not included in the Alpbachtal Card!) New in 2026 - Escape Room with 9 stations - suitable for individuals/families and also for travel groups! Fun for children at the Museum Tiroler Bauernhöfe Children experience the Museum Tiroler Bauernhöfe in a very special way: with many games, quiz stations, puzzles, and interactive elements. Exciting hours are guaranteed! There is also a large playground at the Wirtshaus Rohrerhof at the entrance to the museum. Dogs are allowed; leashes are mandatory!
