Liebmann See

The Liebmannsee has been a well-known fishing water for years and is also a household name for many anglers. Angling has been practiced here for several decades and enjoys countless visitors. In 2010, the Liebmannsee was taken back into the hands of its owners and led to new attractiveness. Bathing and Fishing Pleasures In 1967, Heinrich Liebmann began excavation work on his property with the intention of extracting the abundant gravel. A few years later, Margarethe Liebmann took over the resulting pond system and continued the excavations. In 1978, after the completion of the work, the Liebmannsee was leased by the municipality of Bad Radkersburg and used for fishing. Since 2008, the Liebmann family has been taking care of the lake themselves again. The old fishing hut was demolished and replaced by a modern "Seehaus". Mirror, common and grass carp, as well as pike, zander and catfish are present in the pond. Bathing in the Liebmannsee is in its original form. The facility is opaque on the street side, thus enabling undisturbed bathing fun. The restaurant by the lake, the "Seehaus", offers a beautifully furnished, covered terrace with enough space for relaxing hours by the lake.
