The town wall was essentially only necessary on one side (towards Radfeld or Kundl) because the complex was triangular and one side was secured by the castle complex and the other side by the Inn river. The original gate was demolished between 1809 and 1814, and the current one was subsequently rebuilt. The Kundler Tor forms the border between the municipalities of Radfeld and Rattenberg. The "Mundloch" (mouth hole) near the Kundler Tor was the entrance area to one of the copper adits. Today, the entrance is protected by bars.
