Krumpenloipe Trofaiach

Why travel far when beautiful winter landscapes are right on your doorstep? Thanks to convenient transport links, the cross-country skiing region in Hafning-Trofaiach is very easy to reach. On the 10-kilometer-long trail, classic skiers and skaters of all ages will find ideal conditions for a successful day of cross-country skiing. And it lasts longer here than elsewhere: thanks to the floodlight system, you can ski until 8:00 PM. Many people therefore like to stop by after work and enjoy the magnificent landscape in a completely different light. Everything you need, such as changing facilities, ski rental, etc., is already available. So now all that's left to do is: hit the trail! Things to know about the cross-country skiing region On the 10-kilometer-long trail, you can really work out. The 2.5-kilometer-long training trail also provides ideal conditions until 8:00 PM thanks to snowmaking and a floodlight system. The cross-country skiing region is located at an altitude of 695 – 845 meters above sea level. Both classic cross-country skiing and skating are possible here. Cross-country skis can be rented on site daily from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Parking spaces and changing facilities are available directly at the trail entrance. For children and young people, the use of the trail is free until the age of 15. A cross-country skiing school is also available, offering individual lessons and group courses for children, young people, and adults. The Krumpenloipe also features a children's meadow where the little ones can let off steam, and a biathlon practice facility. The Trofaiach cross-country skiing region has been awarded the Styrian Trail Quality Seal. Thanks to a cooperation with the trail in Eisenerzer Ramsau, combination season tickets are also available, allowing use of the trails in both regions.
