Not far from the city center, you reach the Kreuzbergl recreation area via Radetzkystraße. The Kreuzberglkirche (Kalvarianbergkirche), consecrated in 1742, is worth seeing here. The Stations of the Cross were created after the church was built. The church itself is a Baroque building with a square nave; the east facade facing the city has a pair of towers with Baroque onion domes and simple pilaster articulation. The high altar made of stucco marble with smooth and twisted columns was erected around 1740. The altarpiece "The Lamentation of Christ" by J. F. Fromiller and the Baroque figures of Saints Francis Xavier and John of Nepomuk adorn the interior.
