Katzeninsel in Annaberg

The Katzeninsel is currently closed due to construction work at Wildbach. Purring, marveling, and coloring Have you heard of the "Katzeninsel"? This small area directly on the Lammer river is home to many playful cat creatures. Brightly painted and imaginatively designed, they are fun to admire and also to decorate. Do you want to help create? Then pick up the templates, brushes, and paints at the tourism office with the Annaberg-Lungötz guest card and walk about fifteen minutes to the bridge that takes you to the island (be careful when crossing the federal road!). In the shady woods, you can design your cats however you like. Take a photo of your creation, and if you wish, share it with us using the hashtag #visitannaberg.
