Fishing in the Salzachtal – nature, tranquility & trophy catches The Hofer fishing pond is situated scenically in Mittelpinzgau between Fürth and Piesendorf near Kaprun – an old gravel pond that has developed over decades into a popular and well-stocked fishery. The high fish stock, including carp over 23 kg, pike, zander, perch, bream, and more, offers a variety of opportunities for sport and hobby anglers. The newly built fisherman's hut provides for the culinary needs.
