The chapel at Hösljoch was built by Johann Moser (Oberhausberg) after the old one had been destroyed by floods. In 2008, the chapel was restored. The Höslkapelle stands directly at the transition to Thierbach/Wildschönau - the Hösljoch. In the middle of the altar, the Sorrowful Mother "Mater Dolorosa" is depicted, pierced by a sword, which commemorates Mary's lifelong worries about her son Jesus Christ. The miraculous image of Mary, as well as the altar, were spared from the flood of 1893. A memorial plaque is also attached to the chapel, which tells of the avalanche accident of two maidservants who died on February 5, 1888, during the "Schlengelgang" from Alpbach to Wildschönau at Hösljoch. On certain days, holy masses are also celebrated, e.g., on the Feast of the Sacred Heart. The chapel is looked after by the Kostenzer family (Oberhausberg). Starting from the Thaler car park, a Marian path leads to the chapel.
