In the undulating gable with a triangular roof is a mural of Mary with Child. Saint Anna is the patron saint of mothers and marriage, housewives, widows, and the poor. She is the primary recipient for blessings for children and happy births, for finding lost items, and for rain. She is said to protect against fever, headaches, chest and abdominal pains, leprosy, plague, mental illness, and thunderstorms.
