Gedenkstätte Pfarrer Raimund Ochabauer

After the death of Father Raimund Ochabauer, the idea arose to erect a memorial in Pöllau. A lifelike bronze statue, cast to reflect his character, stands in the Pöllau churchyard. The artist Hannes Fladerer from Lembach near Riegersburg created this life-size portrait through intensive work. "Raimund Ochabauer was obviously a person with a great deal of fundamental trust, even in the unpredictable, and so the outcome of this form – like the outcome of our lives – is open," says the artist.
