Evangelische Kirche

The Evangelische Kirche Radstadt (Evangelical Church Radstadt) is, specifically called Evangelische Tochtergemeinde A. B. Radstadt-Altenmarkt (Evangelical Daughter Congregation A. B. Radstadt-Altenmarkt), a branch of the Evangelische Muttergemeinde Schladming (Evangelical Mother Congregation Schladming). It covers the entire Ennspongau region, including the towns of Radstadt, Altenmarkt, Reitdorf, Flachau, Eben, Mandling, Forstau, Untertauern, and Obertauern, and has existed since 1988. The event center is the Versöhnungskirche (Reconciliation Church) in Radstadt, which was built in memory of the Salzburg Protestants who were expelled in 1731/32 and was consecrated in 1996. The approximately 400 Evangelicals currently belong to the Evangelische Kirche Augsburger Bekenntnisses in Österreich (Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession in Austria), and are therefore connected to Martin Luther's Reformation.
