The exhibition in the museum shows the development of modern physics in text and images. Whether layman or physicist - the exhibition offers a wide audience much that is interesting and worth knowing. Over 700 devices, photos, films and documents, including the complete collection of original measuring instruments from the Vienna Institute for Radium Research and the Styrian Nobel Prize winner for physics, Victor Franz Hess. See for yourself the craftsmanship of technicians from the last two centuries. During a guided tour, experiments are demonstrated and you can also operate devices yourself. School groups are very welcome, advance registration is requested. With the GenussCard you have free admission to the exhibition! "SAM" stands for "Sammeltaxi Oststeiermark" (shared taxi East Styria) and closes the mobility gap where buses and trains do not run. The nearest SAM stop near the exhibition is HF 5943 (Pöllau/Schloss-Zwinger), further stops can be found here.
