Rechnitz is nestled on the southern slope of the Günsergebirge at the foot of the Geschriebenstein. A small jewel among vineyards, cycling and hiking trails. Rechnitz is an ideal starting point for bike tours along "Paradiesrouten" – cycling paths of the Weinidylle and cross-border cycling paths. For refreshment, you can then stop at a Buschenschank (wine tavern) for a hearty snack and a good glass of Welschriesling.
