From home to crime scene, from place of remembrance to place of learning. Shortly before the end of the war, the Sadovnik family's mountain farm became the scene of one of the last Nazi war crimes committed against the Carinthian-Slovenian civilian population. Today, Peršmanhof is not only one of the most important places of remembrance and commemoration for Carinthian Slovenes, but also an internationally recognized museum-based place of learning.
