The farmstead with the house name "Sternberg" is connected to the important painter and graphic artist Franz von Zülow, who lived in the house around 1940 and designed rooms there with painted doors, walls, and ceilings. The murals show landscapes from the area around Viechtwang, but also from Sternberg itself. Two dates, 1941 and August 1942, are preserved. The rooms are now listed as a protected monument.Also on display are ceramic figures by Schleiss and utility ceramics designed by Franz von Zülow.The Kulturverein Sternberg (Sternberg Cultural Association) has set itself the goal of conceiving and operating a small museum at Sternberg in Viechtwang centered around the existing fresco by Franz von Zülow.The Zülow-Stuben can be visited by prior arrangement with Mag. Susanne Faschinger.
