Dachstein

No matter how long you stay in Schladming-Dachstein - you should always make time for one thing: a visit to the Dachstein Glacier - at almost 3000 meters, the highest mountain in Styria. Already during the ascent with the panoramic gondola - either in the all-round glazed gondola cabin or on the airy gondola balcony - spectacular deep views are offered. At the latest at an altitude of 2700 meters, a feeling of true freedom spreads. From the mountain station, all attractions can be reached in a few minutes. Whether you let your gaze wander into the distance from the Skywalk, or gather your courage and climb over the suspension bridge to the Stairway to Nothingness: deep and wide views are guaranteed.
