Baroque Nativity Scene in the City of Angels – Artistic Advent Magic in VeldenThe Baroque nativity scene in the City of Angels Velden am Wörthersee is one of the special highlights of the Velden Advent. This impressive nativity project was created between 2012 and 2019 in collaboration with the East Tyrolean sculptor Gabriel Rauchegger. The figures, artfully carved from Swiss pine wood, were crafted with great attention to detail and then dressed in magnificent robes by the fashion students of CHS Villach.The extraordinary nativity scene combines traditional craftsmanship, regional cooperation, and artistic creativity to create an atmospheric Advent experience.
