Name: Bahntrassen- Radweg Description: Around half of the approximately 41 km long Bahntrassen-Radweg (railway line cycle path) runs directly along the former railway line between Oberschützen and Rechnitz. The result is an absolutely family-friendly cycle path for everyday cyclists and pleasure cyclists in Southern Burgenland. The Bahntrassen-Radweg leads through eight communities in Southern Burgenland and runs from Oberschützen to Rechnitz. Fascinating installations along the pleasure cycle path are planned to make this route an adventure cycle path. The first two adventure stations are already installed - "The forgotten cable car" in Bad Tatzmannsdorf at the old loading station and a 22-meter-long wooden train at the old station in Hannersdorf. Ideal for a short rest stop and a journey of discovery for train fans.
