On the western slope of the Zeilerberg, approx. 3km north of Winden am See, directly next to the road to Bruck a.d. Leitha, lies the Winden Bear Cave. It consists of six artificially heavily altered semi-caves of various sizes from 1 to 12m, some of which are built into fissures in brecciated quartzites. The floor of the largest is covered with debris and large boulders. In spring and autumn, bats of various species can repeatedly be found in narrow ceiling crevices. The name "Grafenlucke" comes from an old field name, the second name from the former inhabitants who lived here until 1918. The forecourt of the caves is offered as a picnic area.
