Antheringer Au

The hike through Antheringer Au is a special natural experience in every season. In this pristine protected area, a scenic natural landscape and exciting wildlife await children and parents: beaver pond, rare bird species such as kingfisher or grey woodpecker, roe deer and red deer, and of course the wild boars native to the area, which, depending on the season, roam through the Au with their piglets. At the end of the trail, you reach the mighty Salzach River, along whose banks you can continue walking.
