Alpaka Impuls - fluffy through the Gesäuse In Hieflau in the Gesäuse in Styria (municipality of Landl), a special place awaits you: Alpaka Impuls, the small, charming alpaca farm of Petra and Johannes Joham. Here it's all about slowing down, taking a deep breath – and marveling at these gentle animals with big eyes. Whether on a leisurely stroll through the meadows, during feeding, or at a children's birthday party on the farm – here, encounters become tangible. No hustle and bustle, no show. Just you, the animals, and nature. If you like, you can even get an "Alpaca Driver's License" – ten hours full of knowledge, fun, and fluffy moments. Schools, kindergartens, or senior groups are also welcome – the alpacas can even visit upon request. Petra Joham also offers animal-assisted therapy – individually tailored and scientifically sound. Here, the animals help in a quiet but profound way. For children, adolescents, and adults seeking new strength, courage, or calm. And because the experience shouldn't just remain in your heart, the farm shop offers handmade products made from the finest alpaca wool: quilted blankets in Gesäuse design, cozy hats, soft scarves, plush alpacas, and cute finger puppets – all sustainably and lovingly crafted. The farm shop is open from January to December on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10 AM to 1 PM and from 4 PM to 7 PM, and by telephone appointment (+43 650 775 3900 or +43 660 659 6048).
