# LassTreffen.at

> LassTreffen.at is an Austrian event discovery platform covering all 9 Austrian Bundesländer. It aggregates ~70,000 upcoming events from ~140 data sources — concerts, festivals, markets, cultural events, university talks, sports, family activities, nightlife — and presents them on an interactive Mapbox map alongside a social layer (friend plans, direct messages, shared memories, artist-follow alerts). The platform is in German, focuses on Austria, and is free for end users.

**Editorial integrity:** every event links back to its original source. Events are deduplicated, geocoded against the official Austrian gemeinde registry (~2,100 municipalities), and enriched with structured data (Schema.org Event JSON-LD, Open Graph, Twitter Cards).

## Data model + structure

- Every event has: title, start_date (ISO with AT timezone), end_date (optional), location_name, address, latitude, longitude, category (one of 12 taxonomy v3 values), tags (multi), description, source_url, optional ticket_url
- Every event is scraped from an original source; LassTreffen never fabricates events
- Event URLs follow the pattern `/events/{plz}-{ort}/{slug}-{shortId}`, e.g. `/events/1010-wien/jazzfestival-im-porgy-a3f7`
- Gemeinde hub URLs: `/gemeinde/{plz}-{ort}` (1,933 municipalities with a dedicated page)
- Theme hub URLs: `/thema/{slug}` (11 themes, Austria-wide)
- Structured data: Schema.org Event, Place, ItemList, CollectionPage, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList — all emitted as JSON-LD @graph on respective pages
