The Cap Hall will once again become a movie theater this year. With the fictional cinematic long-term study "Boyhood," US director Richard Linklater has addressed trust as a process: The coming-of-age drama was filmed over a period of twelve years and follows the life of young Mason, from his early school days at the age of six to his entry into college. Boyhood, 2014 ‧ Drama/Coming-of-Age Fiction ‧ 2 h 45 min Six-year-old Mason lives with his mother and sister in Texas. He only sees his father on weekends. When Mason's mother marries her university lecturer, the boy finds himself in a blended family – in which his stepfather soon shows his true colors. And this is not the only difficulty Mason must overcome on his 12-year journey into adulthood. Since the film was shot over a span of twelve years, the actors grow and age, so that the story of growing up could actually be portrayed with the same cast throughout the lengthy film project – a cinematic long-term study.
