It is one of the oldest houses in the city, in which the museum of the city of Kirchberg is located. At the Heimathaus, visitors can inform themselves about the justice system in earlier times through several informational panels. The exhibition is divided into the areas of court, torture, executioners, punishments, and the high court at Heckerhöhe above Kirchberg. Moreover, the Heimathaus offers insights into the city history of Kirchberg through documents and documentaries. Beer also plays a significant role in the city’s history and was plentifully available through 5 breweries in the 19th century.
