Worum geht's?
Vtoroi Ka are a genre-hopping duo from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, blending post-punk, hip-hop, breakbeat, rave energy and sharp humour into something completely their own. Formed by old school friends Ilya and Sultan, the band first gained underground attention with their albums Dependence Day and Serial before breaking wider with the post-punk-driven Piggy Ride. Since then, their following has grown rapidly, with more than 200,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and a fanbase stretching from Central Asia and Russian-speaking communities into Europe. Their music videos and social media presence are just as distinctive as their sound: weird, funny, stylish and deeply connected to their hometown Bishkek. With their new PO GUBE EP, Vtoroi Ka move even further into rave-driven, nocturnal territory - dark, energetic, playful and impossible to fully categorize.
