Twin brothers Josef and Jan Prasil - together known as Amistat - have embarked on an extraordinary musical journey that transcends boundaries and is rooted in an unspoken, barely explicable connection. Their story unfolds most impressively in their harmonious melodies, shaped by a multifaceted background: Born in Germany, with roots in the Czech Republic and Australia, their childhood was a cultural whirlwind. The brothers spent their early years in Italy, which remained their home until school age. This phase laid the foundation for their musical diversity and brought a Mediterranean touch to their artistic work. With the later move to Australia, their horizons expanded again - the impressions of the Southern Hemisphere gave their music additional depth and energy. The return to their hometown of Rosenheim in 2019 finally marked a decisive turning point for the duo. Known for their distinctive harmonies and their special musical connection, they captivate audiences worldwide. With every note, they turn the everyday into something lasting. A journey that should be experienced live. After a groundbreaking year in 2025 with over 30,000 tickets sold in Europe, the UK, and North America, the brothers return in 2026 with new songs that make their artistic development audible. In autumn, Amistat will go on a major European tour, giving the audience the opportunity to experience the new material live for the first time.
