What's it about?

The Tyrolean musicians and song discoverers Ratz and Fatz, also known as Hermann Riffeser and Frajo Köhle, combine clowning, poetry, and wordplay with sophisticated, handmade music in their programs. As winners of the German Children's Song Award (2007), they conjure up new and well-used songs, funny stories, and hits from their treasure chest. They introduce us to the sock-eating washing machine, tell stories about gardening and Uncle Mastablasta, encounter the zebra pig, and present many instruments and 'unstriments' (unusual instruments). Of course, there is plenty for both young and old audiences to join in – hits with wit and cleverness for the whole family.
