Some Sprouts always manage to shape songs from expansive synthesizer sounds, energetic and emotional guitar licks, melodic basslines, and fitting drum patterns that you want to feel again and again. And it’s resonating: their songs have been streamed over 50 million times on Spotify alone. They have toured far beyond their homeland, also internationally, playing over a hundred concerts and appearing on stages at major international festivals such as The Great Escape, Standon Calling, Eurosonic Norderslag, MS Dockville, and the local Szene Openair in Lustenau. After a two-year winter hibernation and creative break, the band is now back. With new songs in tow, they are hitting the road again for live shows. Recorded in an old dance hall while outside winter storm Elli raged, the new songs carry a fine mix of cheerfulness and melancholy and pick up right where fans have missed the band. Speaking of "missing": in Vienna, the long-awaited reunion finally takes place in October.
