The quiet power of melancholy. Actually, Cat Power is named Charlyn Marie Marshall. The stage name under which the American singer-songwriter is now known was initially the name of her first band. She is now touring solo — and very successfully. Singer-songwriter with soul. With her melancholic voice and her emotional, introspective songs, Cat Power has been shaping the indie and alternative scene since the 1990s. Her music combines folk, blues, soul, and rock. Albums like »Moon Pix« (1998) and »The Greatest« (2006) are considered milestones of her distinctive, minimalist style. Return to the Vienna Concert Hall. She made her debut at the Vienna Concert Hall in July 2024 — here she performed songs that Bob Dylan presented on his legendary »Royal Albert Hall Concert« tour in 1966 with great flair. Now we look forward to the return of the indie star on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of her legendary album »The Greatest«.
