Fun, games and interesting facts about the rare Zirbe (Swiss pine) make a trip to the ZirbenPark Hochzeiger appealing for all ages. The 1-kilometer-long ZirbenPark circular hiking trail starts at the Hochzeiger middle station at 2,000 meters and is easily accessible with the Hochzeiger gondola lift. At the various stations in the ZirbenPark, there is interesting information to learn about the "Queen of the Alps," as the Zirbe is also affectionately called. The highlight in the ZirbenPark is the 12-meter-high Zirbenzapfen (Swiss pine cone) adventure tower with its 16-meter-long tube slide. It is modeled after a Swiss pine cone and features a viewing platform. But there is also much else to experience. The fun factor is not neglected, and the possibilities are diverse.
