Name: Winter Mountain Hiking & Snowshoe Rental Knödl-Alm/Hochalm Description: This romantic high-altitude winter hiking trail in the Ausseerland is located almost exactly between Bad Mitterndorf and Bad Aussee. It leads uphill directly from the Knödl-Alm (parking lot/snowshoe rental). If weather conditions permit, a trail will be groomed up to the Talalm. Special fitness and equipment are required for the entire length (approximately six kilometers).
