Today, we proudly count ourselves among the most important fitness facilities in Wels and the surrounding area. We passionately love and cultivate our athletic and social traditions. These include movement, sport, camaraderie, and club culture. For children from toddler age (the youngest start parent-child gymnastics at 18 months), for adults, and up to seniors in old age, we offer a modern sports world that includes traditional and age-appropriate gymnastics, dancing, contemporary fitness, trend and individual sports, team sports, popular sports, and competitive sports. Our club spans a variety of departments and sports, and in addition to gymnastics, dancing, group fitness, tennis, and swimming, volleyball, basketball, and frisbee also have their established place with us. An athletic highlight is organized annually by the athletics department with the International Wels Half Marathon. The old gymnasium building was completely renovated in 1997, followed in 2008 by the new construction of our gymnastics, tennis, and climbing hall. This new building forms a harmonious complement to our listed gymnasium. Since its opening in 2009, we not only have a great new artistic gymnastics hall, indoor tennis courts, and state-of-the-art gymnastics rooms, but we also offer you the opportunity to reach great heights in the adjacent climbing hall. In the Group Fitness area, you will find a large number of flexible training sessions, which are supplemented by further special courses. Depending on your preferences, you can choose between soft or power fitness units. When equipping our training rooms, we pay attention to modern equipment, trendy gear, and sufficient space for all our members. Our highly trained coaches convey the joy of movement, completely without performance pressure, and help achieve personal peak performances in competitive sports. An important part of our community is conviviality. After sports, people meet in the club premises – in Marina's Sportcafé, great care is taken for the well-being of guests. We are happy to advise you personally on the selection of suitable courses, for trial sessions, getting to know us, and registration. Just drop by! Being here is a beautiful way of life. Parking spaces are available on the premises of the Welser Turnverein, which you are welcome to use — and here's how: Drive to Volksgartenstraße entrance Barrier opens automatically Park Exit only with parking coin or parking card. For dropping off and picking up or accompanying your child, you will receive a free parking card upon request. For persons over 18 years of age, a parking card is available for € 30,-- (payable in cash at the secretariat in the Old Hall), which is valid for the entire gymnastics season (until the end of September).
