Weißenbachkapelle

The chapel, renovated in 1999, was built in 1928 when the Reichraming brassworks had a hammer mill built here and more and more worker families moved into the village. Especially on Sundays and public holidays, the chapel was the center of village life. Weddings were celebrated here and night vigils were held after deaths. Due to its size, it long served as a substitute for the church, which was only built in Reichraming in 1897. When residents moved away from 1960 onwards, the chapel became obsolete. By car to parking lot P4 Weißenbach and then on foot for approx. 20 minutes along the National Park theme trail "Im Tal des Holzes" (In the Valley of Wood).
