Weinmuseum im Schloss Esterházy

In the historic ambience of the castle cellars, the Wine Museum offers a unique insight into the wine history of the Pannonian region. The museum combines centuries-old equipment, stories, and documents into a fascinating tour through the world of wine. As early as 1666, the barrel cellar could hold 5,000 buckets of wine, or about 280,000 liters, and until the 21st century, the historic cellar vaults in the castle were used to store the wine from the Esterházy estates.
