Wasserfall

The majestic Bad Gastein Waterfall is one of the most impressive natural spectacles in the Gastein Valley and has inspired many painters and poets. The Gasteiner Ache, fed by the Anlaufbach and the Naßfelder Ache in the Hohe Tauern National Park, thunders down through the town into the depths. A special highlight is the stone waterfall bridge, built in 1840 and expanded in 1927, which offers impressive views.
