Warnsdorfer Hütte

From the Krimmler Tauernhaus, walk downhill to the Jaidbachalm. Continue to the Äußere and Innere Keesalm. Now follow the trail uphill to the hut, which is situated amidst a magnificent glacier landscape. A popular attraction for young and old is the ice lake, located 10 minutes from the hut. The hut's local mountain, the Gamsspitzl, which is 2,888 meters high, can be reached easily in 1.5 hours from the hut. - A very rewarding tour with a splendid panoramic view. Open: mid-June to late September (weather permitting).
