Wallfahrtskirche Pöllauberg

Pöllauberg, Styria

For centuries, Mary, the Mother of God, has been venerated on Pöllauberg. This pilgrimage church, founded by Katharina von Stubenberg, is one of the most magnificent high Gothic churches in all of Styria. The spacious church building was completed at the end of the 14th century. The Gothic bell tower was replaced by a new structure in 1678, and the tower dome was added in 1744.
