For centuries, the church has been the destination of numerous pilgrimages. The most important pilgrimage site of the Wechselland inspires quiet reflection. The baroque frescoes by Johann Cyriak Hackhofer (1675-1731) in the church fascinate both locals and visitors. The church is ideal for weddings, as the beautiful forecourt allows for receptions. The Brunnenkapelle (fountain chapel), with its flowing healing spring, is a spiritual refuge and a power place for many praying people.
