Pilgrimage Chapel in honour of Our Lady Mariahilf A chapel consecration was reported in 1493. After Leins was elevated to a chaplaincy in 1728, the CHURCH IN HONOUR OF OUR LADY MARIAHILF was probably built around 1750 in place of an old pilgrimage chapel. In 1955, it was extended and the tower was newly built; at the same time, a cemetery was laid out. The frescoes on the triumphal arch were painted in 1956 by the Arzl artist Elmar Kopp. For the Neo-Romanesque high altar, Hans Kapferer, born in Sellrain, created a graceful Maria Hilf image in 1863. The altar figures of Saints Joachim and Anna were probably carved around 1780 by Josef Anton Renn from Imst, to whom the figures of Saints Antonius and Francis in Jerzens are also attributed. The artistic design of the newly built mortuary chapel also comes from Elmar Kopp. Service Sunday 10:00 AM
