Wallfahrtskapelle Maria Bründl

Surrounded by very old linden trees, the pilgrimage chapel Maria Bründl is located at the edge of the forest. In 1677, a statue of Mary was erected there, and in 1720, the chapel was added. The reason for the pilgrimage chapel was a cook who, according to tradition, regained his eyesight through the healing spring water located under the altar. Thus, the chapel is particularly visited by people with eye ailments. The large pilgrimages take place on the Visitation of Mary (1st Sunday in July), on the Assumption of Mary (August 15), and on the Nativity of Mary (1st Sunday in September). The pilgrimage services are held in front of the chapel around the newly created altar. Seating has been created for 1000 pilgrims. The chapel is looked after by the "Bründl-Frauen". They hold a devotion every Sunday afternoon in the chapel. The pilgrimage chapel is freely accessible and can be visited at any time!
