St. Johann in Salzburg, Salzburg
The Waldschwimmbad is located at the foot of Hahnbaum, and as the name suggests, it is embedded in the forest landscape of the small town. The outdoor area features a children's playground, table tennis tables, and a large sunbathing lawn. A buffet and a terrace café provide refreshments during your stay at the Waldschwimmbad. Over 1,100 square meters of water surface offer special fun in the cool water. Other highlights include a 35-meter-long water slide, a 1-meter and a 3-meter diving tower, as well as a separate children's area. The Waldschwimmbad is open from mid-May to early September. Due to staffing reasons, the Waldschwimmbad remains closed on rainy days. Parking during the visit: Access to the Waldschwimmbad (Badweg) must be kept clear for emergency vehicles. On weekends, parking lots of the district authority are available free of charge from Friday afternoon, and those of the Chamber of Commerce from Saturday afternoon. During the entire bathing season, the parking lot on Premweg is designated as a short-term parking zone. Visitors to the pool receive a parking permit directly at the cash desk.
