After more than 50 years of slumber, Villa Marienheim awakens to new life. Starting this summer, Gerda Kohlmayr opens the historic rooms for art, culture, and encounters in a green setting. Music and literature, small exhibitions, living craftsmanship, museum rooms from the last 100 years, puppet theater, porcelain (old meets new design), as well as free space for textile design and textile art will find their place. A Jour fixe with a small culture café invites visitors every Monday (5-9 PM) for exchange in the villa and garden.Gerda Kohlmayr (born 1961 in Vienna) studied Textile Design and Graphics at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. She works freelance in textile design, graphic design, exhibition organization, workshops, and art therapeutic support.Dates: August 3, 2-8 PM: Soft openingAugust 25, 5-8 PM: Finissage Porcelain Old meets new designSeptember 12-13, 11 AM-6 PM: Exhibition Textile Art in the GardenAugust 1 - September 14, 2026daily except WED, from 2–6 PM or by phone appointmentTel.: +43 664 5312823 | www.gerda-kohlmayr.at
