Valentinum

Thomatal, Salzburg

ausstellungmuseumstour

The premises and exhibits are visible from the outside, with the centerpiece being a multimedia presentation. The exhibition is freely accessible during the day. The VALENTINUM makes the historically and individually very valuable inheritance with clothing, documents, books, and other archive data accessible to a broad public. The well-known parish priest Valentin "Voitl" Pfeifenberger, who was a very charismatic person, exemplified simplicity and humility. His mystical aura, his lived trust in God, and his ability to revive forgotten customs and incorporate them into the church's annual cycle are reflected here.
