Union Reitverein Eberstalzell

The club It is not the long tradition… It is the remarkable development and honest work that distinguishes this club from many others. Founded in 1997 by only 3 amateur riders, URV Eberstalzell is now one of the largest riding clubs in Upper Austria in terms of members. Eberstalzell may be a manageable Hausrucker municipality, but it is geographically and infrastructurally favorably located in the center of the state. This results in the special feature that members not only come from the immediate vicinity, but live scattered throughout Upper Austria within a radius of 50 kilometers. A characteristic that speaks for the quality of the club, but above all for the riding facility. The riding facility The home of the URV is the Reichlgut of the Hörtenhuber family. In 2010, one of the most modern riding facilities in Austria was realized here with great effort and attention to detail. The well-being of the horses is always paramount. Whether it's box stalls, paddock box stalls, or "HIT active stable housing". A horse walker, solarium, spacious paddocks, and feed, almost exclusively from their own cultivation, complete the "wellness operation" for horses. For horse and rider, an indoor riding arena (45 M x 25 M) and an outdoor riding arena (60 M x 40 M) are available. Special emphasis is placed on the care of the special sand-fleece floor, which specifically protects the horses' legs and joints. The tournament (national dressage & show jumping tournament) In memory of the deceased co-founder of the club, Manfred Voglhuber, the URV organized a national equestrian tournament for the first time in 2013. In its first year, it was considered an insider tip among Upper Austrian riders, but now the "CDN-C" and "CSN-C", with over 300 starters for recreational and competitive riders from all over Austria and neighboring Bavaria, are fixed points in the annual tournament calendar.
