Schnann Theme Trail "Faith and History" On the "Faith and History" theme trail in Schnann, opened in 2014, hikers get to know the essence of the small village – step by step, vividly and entertainingly. Visitors learn a lot about the origin and history of the Schnann parish and parish church, as well as the settlement of the village. The stories tell of the blessings and misfortunes of the "Schnanner Bach" (Schnann stream), of the village's development through the construction of the Arlberg railway, the Schwabenkinder (Swabian children), the Almwirtschaft (alpine farming), but also of the "Golden City" – a chapter of the Second World War. Starting from the parish church in the village center, the theme trail runs eastward via the Stations of the Cross to St. Michael's Chapel and further along existing lanes and paths, most of which are accessible with strollers as well as for older people.
