The hut, reconstructed from wood over 200 years old, offers groups of 8 to a maximum of 14 people the perfect setting for very special moments. The culinary highlight: char trout (Saibling) served according to the tradition of the Lech party. Ausseer Lake Char from open fire - culinary tradition in the Salzkammergut The freshly caught char from local waters is slowly cooked on wooden skewers over a footfire right next to the crackling beechwood embers. The grill master accompanies your group through the evening and prepares the fish fresh before your eyes. The honest enjoyment is served with classic side dishes such as crispy black bread, flavorful spread, three salads, Krenn (a type of cheese spread), and mustard, finished with a sweet dessert. Cozy get-together among yourselves While the beechwood smells, you enjoy genuine Ausseer hospitality. Drinks are pre-chilled according to your wishes and provided directly in the hut, with simple billing based on actual consumption. The historic location offers the perfect setting for convivial hours in any season – completely weather-independent, either in the warm interior or on the idyllic square right in front of the hut. Group exclusivity: The entire hut and the space at the open fire are reserved solely for your group for the evening. The authentic Ausseer Lake Char: Top quality and fresh from the region, prepared in traditional craftsmanship right before your eyes over an open beechwood fire. Traditional side dishes: Crispy black bread, flavorful spread, three salads, Kren (horseradish), mustard, and a sweet finish. Drinks of your choice: We pre-stock the hut's refrigerators with your favorite beverages – billing is simple and based on actual consumption at the end. Capacity & seating: Cozy indoor space by the fire for at least 8 up to a maximum of 14 people – perfectly suited for company gatherings, birthdays, and seminar groups. Time frame: The hut is available to your group either from 11:00 to 15:30 or from 16:30 to 21:30. Price: € 95 per person including food, hut rental, and personal service by our grill master.
