Tauernstraßenmuseum

The history of the Tauernstraße from the Romans through postal traffic, the flight of the Protestants, up to the construction of the Tauernautobahn. The Tauernstraßenmuseum is located in the district of Gasthofberg and can be reached via the access road to the Landzeit Eben-Nord motorway rest area (note: motorway vignette required). The museum is also accessible via the Katschberg federal road (B99): from Eben at the roundabout towards Hüttau, turn right at the Gasthofberg exit and follow the signs towards the Outletcenter. The Tauernstraßenmuseum can be reached via the underpass of the highway.
