Welcome to the Alpine Aquarium, where you can experience a very special diving highlight at 1,160 meters above sea level. Nestled in the mountains is Europe's highest diving base with its unique underwater petting zoo. Countless fish of various species can be fed by hand underwater and even petted. If you want to try this unique experience without prior knowledge, you can, after a short registration, make your first underwater experiences with professional diving instructors during a trial dive or complete an entire diving course in just a few days. With impeccable health and good fitness, first underwater experiences with an experienced diving instructor are possible from 8 years of age, and from 10 years of age, entire diving courses are an option. The trial dive lasts approx. 4 hours. This includes theoretical instruction and fitting the equipment, then you're ready to go! The cost for this is € 75.00. Should you decide to take an OWD or CMAS* diving course at the Alpenaquarium Grüblsee after your first underwater adventure, these € 75.00 will be credited to your course! The diving base is staffed daily from 9:30 AM until approximately the end of October each year. However, it is best to call in any case before you come, so that your visit can be planned. Diving is only permitted when the base is staffed. Diving courses take place in Grüblsee according to international standards: ProTec, IAC, CMAS, PADIOWD, AOWD, RESCUE, DIVEMASTER, DIVING INSTRUCTOR CMAS*, CMAS**, CMAS***, Moniteur CMAS* Diving courses up to diving instructor are possible with us!
