The exhibition space is located in the Waldlturm within the monastery grounds and includes numerous archaeological finds from the immediate and surrounding areas of the Augustinian Canons' Monastery Vorau, as well as the earth cellars and underground passageways. Unique exhibits such as the "Dragon Relief" or Mesolithic stone tools are displayed alongside many other artifacts in the display cases. These ancient relics of earlier cultures take visitors back into the history of the northeastern Styrian region, spanning many millennia. The focus is on the underground structures and remains of megalithic cultures in the area. Guided tours only via: pforte@stift-vorau.at or 03337/2351-31.
